Programme Outline 

Learning Unit 1: Setting up and Managing Projects in Microsoft Project

• Learn to set up projects, define calendars, and manage project files.

Learning Unit 2: Managing and Structuring Project Tasks

• Create, organise, and sequence tasks using WBS, milestones, and dependencies.

Learning Unit 3: Foundations of Resource Management

• Plan, allocate, and control resources, resolve overallocations, and manage costs.

Learning Unit 4: Understanding and Implementing Project Communication Strategies

• Save baselines, update schedules, and communicate results using reports.

Standard Course Duration: Approximately 2-4 weeks, depending on your own pace of study. Many students complete the course sooner.

Maximum Course Access: You have up to 12 months from your registration date to complete the course. This additional access is provided to accommodate working professionals and students with other commitments.

All assessments are completed online via your student portal. There are no formal examinations. Assessment is based on quizzes and assignments submitted through the platform. Quizzes are timed and can be attempted at scheduled intervals, while assignments are marked by your allocated assessor, who will provide feedback accordingly.

The course has been awarded 5 Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points by OPSA.

Upon successful completion, students receive:
