Graduation Ceremony

The graduation registration cut-off date has been extended to 20 August 2026. All graduation registrations must be finalised by this date. This includes the completion of the online registration process and receipt of full payment. Registrations that are incomplete or unpaid after this date will not be accepted.

Ceremony Time & Arrival Requirements

The graduation ceremony will commence promptly at 11:00. Graduates are required to arrive at the venue no later than 09:30 to allow sufficient time for registration and the collection of appropriate graduation attire.

Graduation Registration Fee: R750
This compulsory fee secures your place at the ceremony.
Please note: This fee excludes gown hire and stage photographs. 

Gown Hire: R250 + R250 Refundable Deposit

Hire your official graduation gown for only R250, plus a R250 refundable cash deposit. Your deposit will be returned immediately after the ceremony once the gown is handed back.

Optional Official Stage Photographs: 

Graduates may purchase two professionally captured stage photographs for R150, supplied in digital format after the ceremony.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Photography

• Personal Photography: Graduates are warmly encouraged to arrange their own professional photographers to capture this special milestone. Personal and professional photographers are welcome to take photographs throughout the venue before and after the ceremony, including at the IBM College photo booths and designated photography areas.
• Official Stage Photography: To ensure that the graduation ceremony remains dignified, uninterrupted and enjoyable for all guests, only IBM College’s accredited photography team will be permitted to photograph graduates inside the ceremony hall during the official proceedings.
• Ordering Stage Photographs: Graduates may purchase two official digital stage photographs for R150. After the ceremony, simply email enquiries@institutebm.org.za to order your photographs.

Graduation Eligibility

• Graduation registration and payment should only be made after formal, written confirmation has been received from the College that the learner is eligible to graduate. Completion of a qualification alone does not automatically confirm graduation eligibility, as portfolios must be submitted and audited by the relevant quality council. The College cannot accept responsibility for registrations or payments made prior to such confirmation.
• Learners with an outstanding balance on their account will not be eligible to attend the Graduation Ceremony until all fees have been settled in full.
