Course content

This programme will cover the following learning areas:

• Developing a Customer Service Strategy
• Engaging and Building Relationships with Customers
• Managing Customer Support and Retention
• Empowering and Leading a Customer Service Team
• Evaluating and Enhancing Customer Service Performance

Standard Course Duration: Approximately 3 months, depending on your own pace of study. Many students complete the course sooner.

Maximum Course Access: You have up to 12 months from your registration date to complete the course. This additional access is provided to accommodate working professionals and students with other commitments.

All assessments are completed online via your student portal. There are no formal examinations. Assessment is based on quizzes and assignments submitted through the platform. Quizzes are timed and can be attempted at scheduled intervals, while assignments are marked by your allocated assessor, who will provide feedback accordingly.

Professional Recognition

This course is endorsed by the Association for Office Professionals of South Africa (OPSA), confirming that its content aligns with current industry standards.

The course has been awarded 5 Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points by OPSA.

Upon successful completion, students receive:

• An Official IBM Professional Certificate
• An Additional OPSA CPD Certificate, reflecting the CPD points earned (valid for 1 year)

Learners who wish to receive their certificate in person are invited to attend the annual IBM Graduation Ceremony held in Rondebosch, Cape Town, South Africa.
